However, the grinding surfaces here have a three-dimensional shape and the axis of rotation is specifically unbalanced. In addition, the stones of the needle collide when they pass through a small space between the cones, and collapse faster.

They themselves can have a smooth, jagged or raised surface to work with materials of varying thickness. However, the resistance of the broken raw materials must not exceed the average values.

The relatively low cost of breakers for ballast production can only affect very small models that can handle up to tons per hour, or compact laboratory breakers.

No special equipment is required for your own needs, and the design of the machine is simple. Drawings and diagrams can be found in old manuals or on the Internet and assemble the installation from the available metal.

Suitable sources of raw materials are suitable rocks of sufficient hardness on the surface and are available for independent extraction. However, in domestic production, gravel is often made from recycled materials or wastes from mining and processing companies. Their strength is average, so the hammer machine works.
