All shredded shredders and crushers can be subdivided by the size class of the stone obtained at the exit (mm):
100 to 300;
25 -100;
25-05.
At the same time, most structures can work in one of the specified areas: just reconfigure the machine to get a new fraction in the output. In addition, fixed and mobile models are distinguished. However, the former are only used in large companies that develop strong rock deposits. At the same time, any mobile crusher used to treat ballast, even if less productive, can be used to crush small material and move it to a new location.

However, the former are only used in large companies that develop strong rock deposits. At the same time, any mobile crusher used to process crushed stone, even if its productivity is lower, can be used for grinding small stocks and transporting it to a new location.
In general, the mobile equipment is conical or jamming, with the difference that it regulates raw material fractions and marketable products. Due to the frequent job changes and thus the properties of the ballast are the best solutions. A whole fleet of expensive shredders can be replaced by a universal machine.
1. Main types.
The lower dirt limit at the compression strength is 300 MPa. This material is not widely used on a construction site, but still has a small consumer base. Most of the market has long been conquered by more durable rocks from M600 to M1200. To grind the stones to the desired fractions and to obtain high-quality building materials at the exit, the structures of the crusher must be selected correctly.
1.1 Jaw.
Jaw crusher is one of the most widely used types |
For all the simplicity of the design, these cars are quite capricious: they require regular inspections and frequent repairs. When using jaw crushers, it is recommended to change the sanding plates regularly as they wear unevenly during operation. It also reduces equipment maintenance costs if it is more durable on the wear-resistant metal surface. The disadvantage of these mills is the high proportion of flax grains in the finished waste, a sign of their poor quality. The reason is the peculiarities of the machine, which does not break, but tightens and laminates the stones.
1.2. Cone.
Type Cone Crusher |
1.3. Rotary.
Type Rotary Crusher |
However, with this method of destroying rocks, it is impossible to control the size of the gravel at the outlet, so that after grinding, all the mass is sent to a broadcasting screen. A disadvantage of rotary choppers is also considered as not above average limited hardness of the raw materials. In large industries, they are only used in the second milling stage.
1.4 Rollers.
Type of Roller Crusher |
Only available in two forms: For fine and medium sanding of gravel. The destruction of the rocks takes place between the rotating mating rolls. They themselves can have a smooth, jagged or raised surface to work with materials of varying thickness. However, the resistance of the broken raw materials must not exceed the average values.
2.Prices of different models.
Buying a second hand investment at a more reasonable price will not succeed. Even if they are edited or restored after a major overhaul, they are not much cheaper. The relatively low cost of breakers for ballast production can only affect very small models that can handle up to tons per hour, or compact laboratory breakers.
Since it is not profitable to buy a shredder for small construction jobs, citizens with technical knowledge can try to do it themselves. No special equipment is required for your own needs, and the design of the machine is simple. Drawings and diagrams can be found in old manuals or on the Internet and assemble the installation from the available metal.
Suitable sources of raw materials are suitable rocks of sufficient hardness on the surface and are available for independent extraction. However, in domestic production, gravel is often made from recycled materials or wastes from mining and processing companies. Their strength is average, so the hammer machine works.
3. Build your own hands.
The machine chosen must match the capacity |
- Capacity in mineral resources.
- Tree with grinding elements (hammering).
- Lattice with holes of the correct size (it is better to have several interchangeable ones for different fractions).
- Electric motor with starting equipment.
- Distance between the axes.
- Pulleys, belts, locks and bearings.
